We recognize that candidates have different requirements to achieve the best results when taking your assessment. It could be that they are not natively fluent in the language of the assessment or that they have a disability affecting their memory and cognition. For these reasons, Adaface offers our clients the ability to request modifications so that they can screen diverse candidates and make your hiring decisions bias-free.

Background

Regulations vary depending on your region. In most countries with equal employment laws, providing the option for accommodation is not only legal but is required. If you are unsure of the laws in your region, please see legal counsel from a certified professional for your region before deciding how to proceed.

Adaface provides the essential support required for you to comply with guidelines set by agencies such as the EEOC and ADA.

Quality checks

All of our questions in our library go through rigorous quality checks to ensure the language used in the test is as per standard like EEOC. We ensure the Adaface platform is accessible via major browsers and we strive to support different internet bandwidths.

Data collection

By default, Adaface doesn't collect information like Resume or candidate's social profiles to make sure you are not biased while analyzing the screening data.

Candidate support

We provide support to candidates via email. If candidates reach out to us with special assistance, we forward the request to you so that you can decide on the best course of action.

Language support

If you have candidates that are not fluent in English, you could request a custom test in the supported foreign languages from your dashboard.

Textual test support

If you have candidates who are visually impaired, then you can request a custom test with text-only questions. Note that it might not be possible to do a text-only questions for all the skills (ex: spatial reasoning)

Time restrictions

If you have to support candidates who require more time than what Adaface sets for each question, you can increase the time for each question by editing the question in the dashboard. You can also disable the time restrictions across the whole test by toggling the 'Time the test' to off under the test settings.

Anti-cheating restrictions

If you want to support candidates with issues with proctoring restrictions like webcam, web proctoring, you can turn it off from the test settings.
