Adaface gives recruiters the ability to send emails to candidates (automated as well as on-demand) during various stages of hiring funnel.

This article goes over:

Automated emails

  1. Invite email:

This is sent automatically when a candidate is invited to a test using Adaface dashboard or any of our ATS integrations. You can review how to invite candidates here. You will see a live preview of the email when filling the candidate details in the dashboard to invite a candidate.

  2. First reminder email:
This is the first reminder email that a candidate receives if they don't complete the chat after the invite is sent. This is automatically sent to the candidate 1 day after the original invite email.

  3. Second reminder email:

This is the second reminder email a candidate receives if they don't complete the chat even after the first reminder email. This is automatically sent to the candidate 3 days after the original invite email.

By default, the reminder emails are sent after 1 day and 3 days post the original invite. If you wish to change the default reminder timelines for your company, please ping on the chat, or email ada@adaface.com with your request.

Manually triggered emails

From under "Actions" in your "Candidates" tab, you can manually trigger the following emails:

  1. Shortlisted email

  2. Rejection email

  1. Shortlisted Email:

If a candidate does well on the test, you can trigger a shortlisted email to the candidate by clicking on the "Send shortlisted email" manually.

  2. Rejection Email:
If a candidate does not do well on the test, you can trigger a rejection email to the candidate by clicking on the "Send rejection email" manually.

There are also actions for 'shortlisting' and 'archiving' candidates for your internal tracking purposes.

Please note that these actions don't automatically send shortlist/rejection emails- the emails have to be triggered manually.

How to edit email templates

You can edit the default email templates from the "Settings" tab in your Adaface dashboard itself.

Navigate to the 'Settings' tab and click on "Emails" in the side navigation menu.

You can edit the default templates, and click "Save changes" after you are done editing.
