This doc has instructions on how to enable webcam for Chrome, Internet Explorer, Edge, Firefox, Safari and Brave.
For every browser there are 2 scenarios that are covered:
Opening adaface.com for the first time in the scenario that you have never denied/ allowed access before
Opening adaface.com for second time after you have denied access before
Chrome
Never denied/ allowed access before:
You would be presented with a popup similar to screenshot like this: Click on 'Allow'
Confirm that your webcam is working.
In the webcam instructions popup, if you see a live video stream of your webcam, we are good to go! Click on the Proceed button to dismiss and proceed to the chat.
If you are unable to see stream of your webcam, check that you have given access to your camera by clicking on the lock button besides the address. It should say "Camera: Allow". If it says "Denied", follow the instructions in the next step.
Denied access before:
If you have denied access once, then even on reload, Chrome won't show the permissions popup again. In this scenario, you can either:
click on video cam symbol on the extreme end of address bar and click on "Always allow https://www.adaface.com/ to access your camera". You need to reload after you change this setting.
OR
go to chrome://settings/content/camera?search=camera. click on "https://www.adaface.com". Under "Permissions" > "Camera", change permission to "Allow" and the reload the page.
click on lock symbol beside the address bar and change "Camera: Denied" to "Camera: Allow" and reload the page.
Troubleshooting tips
If it is not working even after giving permissions and reloading, visit meet.google.com and create a session. If the camera is not showing up, it is likely an issue with the browser or privacy settings of your device.
Tip 1: Follow the troubleshooting steps here to make sure you are giving access to your camera properly.
Tip 2: You can also try this:

Copy and paste the following into the address bar at the top of the browser:
chrome://flags/#enable-media-foundation-video-capture
In the drop down for "MediaFoundation Video Capture" select "Disabled"
Relaunch Chrome and it should be fixed.
Tip 3: You can try this -
Enter
chrome://settings/content/camera
in the Chrome address bar.Disable the setting "Ask before accessing."
