Public links

You can create public links for a test. A candidate who lands on this link can give the test (so you don't need to invite each candidate)

How to create public links and enable/ disable them

  1. You need to be either a Super Admin or Tests Admin to create a public link.

  2. Go to the 'Tests' tab in your Adaface dashboard.

  3. Click on the test you want to create a public link for.

  4. Click on 'Settings'.

  5. Scroll down to the "Public link" section and click 'Generate new link' (if not done already).

  6. Click on the 'toggle' icon beside the link to turn it on/ off and copy the link to share with candidates.

How do public links work

When a public link is shared with a candidate and the candidate opens it, the candidate is taken through the following steps before being redirected to the test.

  • Email authentication

  • Full name

These details are automatically added to your dashboard. If you require any other details to be collected from the candidate, you can add a custom "Text input" question in your test. Here's how you can upload a custom question.

How to use public links

Campus placements/ career drives

You can create public links, turn them off and share them with campus representatives for conducting campus placement tests. When the test time starts, you can turn on the public link and ask candidates to take the technical chat. This way, you can bulk screen many candidates at once.

Career page integration

You can also use public links in your career pages. You can create a public link for each of the tests corresponding to each of your open roles, and embed them on the "Apply now" (or equivalent) button so every candidate who applies on your career page will automatically go through the screening process for that role. This way, you will receive a candidate's test scores along with their resume and you can speed up the screening process by a couple of stages in the hiring funnel. This helps in setting up a background-blind hiring process and removing resume biases.
